Taliban bars women from leaving Kabul for studies, cracks down on women's rights

It's been over a year since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. During their takeover, the Taliban regime promised that they will be taking a more liberal approach towards women's rights but recent reports show that not much has changed in the current regime rather the government is only backtracked on all of its promises and left Afghan women and girls in despair.
