The strike escalated tensions, prompting the UAE to announce the withdrawal of its remaining forces. Yemen’s Presidential Council ordered Abu Dhabi to pull out within 24 hours, while the Southern Transitional Council remained defiant. Saudi Arabia backed the move, citing national security, and regional actors, including Qatar, welcomed statements emphasizing Gulf unity.
