Sao Tome colonial plantations 'rocas' added to UNESCO list

Six "rocas" (colonial-era plantations) in Sao Tome and Principe have been added the UNESCO World Heritage List in July 2026, in recognition of their architecture and their fundamental importance to the country’s history.
