In the largest drone strike on the Russian capital since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has hit the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district. The attack, which took place on June 18, 2026, penetrated layered air defenses and caused significant fires that blanketed the southern part of the city in thick black smoke.
