Nvidia is investing up to $100 billion in OpenAI, in one of the biggest partnerships in AI history. The deal involves massive chip purchases, a non-voting stake for Nvidia, and plans to deploy at least 10 gigawatts of computing power — enough to power over 8 million U.S. homes.
This move strengthens Nvidia’s position as the dominant AI hardware provider and gives OpenAI the critical infrastructure to maintain its lead in artificial intelligence. But with antitrust concerns rising and competitors watching closely, this could reshape the entire tech landscape.
