Nigeria Reverses National Language Policy | Mother-Tongue Teaching Scrapped

The Nigerian government has reversed its controversial national language policy, scrapping the use of mother-tongue languages as the medium of instruction in primary schools. Instead, English will now be reinstated as the language of teaching across all primary and secondary levels.
