Nigeria deploys Army to rescue kidnapped students as 287 students get abducted by gunmen

At least 287 people were taken hostage by gunmen on Thursday, March 7, when they broke into a school in the northwest of the country, according to the headmaster, who informed authorities that this was the country's second mass kidnapping in less than a week. The Nigerian Army has been now deployed to rescue the children.
