The Indian government has appointed a new chief for the Indian space agency ISRO. Dr. V. Narayanan, who currently serves as the Director of ISRO's rocket and satellite engine development facility, will take charge from January 14th, barely a week from now. Dr. V. Narayanan will succeed incumbent ISRO Chairman Dr. S. Somanath, who has delivered stellar success over the last three years.
