In a historic shift for Nepal’s diplomatic landscape, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has officially invited applications from eligible Nepali citizens for ambassadorial and permanent representative positions. This move marks the first time in the nation's history that ambassadorial appointments have been opened to a formal, competitive process rather than being exclusively split between political appointees and career diplomats.
