Mystery as NASA probe goes dark after close encounter with interstellar visitor nearing earth
NASA's MAVEN spacecraft has been silent since December 4th after successfully capturing an image of interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS just days before vanishing behind Mars. The orbiter which operated flawlessly for twelve years studying the Red Planet's atmosphere has suddenly stopped working.
