Malaysian state to jail Muslims skipping Friday prayers
The Malaysian state of Terengganu has threatened to jail men who skip Friday prayers without a valid reason. Under new rules, warning of imprisonment of upto 2 years has been issued or that of a fine of close to $700 to be levied on first time offenders. This challenges the country's secular structure.
