Karnataka has begun its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with over 59,000 Booth Level Officers deployed across the state. Election officials say 46.5 lakh voters are yet to be verified or mapped, though they will remain on the electoral rolls and receive enumeration forms. The final revised voter list is scheduled to be published on October 7.
