ISIS Attack: President Donald Trump has vowed retaliation after an ISIS ambush in Syria killed two U.S. troops and one American civilian interpreter. The attack, which occurred during a joint U.S.-Syrian patrol near Palmyra, marks the first U.S. troop fatalities in Syria since the fall of the Assad regime. Trump promised “serious action” against ISIS, stating that the United States will pursue and eliminate those responsible.
