Iran has sharply escalated its rhetoric against the United States, with President Masoud Pezeshkian warning that Washington’s naval blockade is “doomed to fail.” Senior Iranian officials, including Mohsen Rezaei and Navy Commander Shahram Irani, warned Tehran would not tolerate pressure on its ports and hinted at the deployment of new military capabilities. The growing standoff in the Strait of Hormuz continues to fuel fears of a wider regional and energy crisis.
