Iran Threatens Action Against Countries Joining US Economic Campaign | U.S - Iran War
Iran has warned neighbouring countries against joining what Tehran describes as a United States economic war against Iran, threatening action against the interests of countries that participate in economic restrictions. The warning was issued by Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary during an interview with state television. He said countries taking part in economic restrictions against Iran would be regarded as enemies and warned that Tehran could target their interests if they refused to distance themselves from Washington. Iranian officials also warned that further US sanctions could lead Tehran to target American oil and economic companies in the region and elsewhere.
