Even as U.S. naval blockade remains in place, Iran has defied it and claimed to have collected toll tax from ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. This comes even as U.S. President Donald Trump claimed total control of this strategic waterway. He also ordered U.S. Navy to shoot any boats planting mines in Hormuz.
