Indian tunnel rescue set to take much longer time
Drilling work has been halted at the Silkyara tunnel in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. In the last 24 hours, there has been no movement within the tunnel due to multiple snags in the drilling machine. Rescuers at the site are now looking toward the option of vertical drilling which would require drilling for around 90 metres to reach the workers.
