Major disruption ahead! India will suspend all postal services to the United States starting August 25, in response to sweeping new U.S. customs rules and tariff hikes announced by President Donald Trump.
Following Executive Order No. 14324, the U.S. has withdrawn the $800 duty-free exemption and slapped a 50% total tariff on Indian goods, including a penalty for Russian oil imports. As a result, the Indian Department of Posts has halted deliveries to the U.S., citing the unfeasibility of the new tariff structure.
