India: Karnataka CM seeks suspension of VB-G RAM G law implementation

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has demanded the suspension of the implementation of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act. He put forth this demand in a letter addressed to PM Modi. This legislation was passed by the Parliament in December amid vociferous opposition.
