India and Germany focus on defence cooperation | Berlin among New Delhi's Indo-Pacific allies
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius is in New Delhi. The high-level visit aims to facilitate bilateral defence cooperation and explore avenues for strategic partnership. India was one of the first countries to end the state of war with post-war Germany in 1951. It was also amongst the first countries to recognize the federal republic of Germany.
