Germany could see damages worth $957 bn by 2050, new study finds

A study by economic research companies Prognos and g-w-s and Germany's institute for ecological economic research says by the mid-century, extreme weather caused by climate change could cost Germany up to 957 billion dollars in cumulative economic damage. The study comes at a time when Europe's biggest economy seeks a bill to address climate adaptation measures to cut the damages.
