As the Netherlands prepares for national elections on October 29, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) has issued a stark warning: don’t use AI chatbots to decide your vote. In a new report, the AP says chatbots tested gave biased, repetitive voting suggestions, favoring either the far-right Freedom Party (PVV) or the leftist GroenLinks-PvdA — regardless of user input. The AP says this poses a direct threat to democratic integrity, urging voters to avoid relying on AI tools for political guidance.
