Several people were killed and others injured after a powerful explosion ripped through a bar in the luxury Alpine ski resort town of Crans-Montana, Switzerland, during New Year celebrations. Swiss police confirmed the blast occurred early Thursday and said the cause of the explosion remains unknown.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene as authorities secured the area and launched an investigation. The incident has shocked the resort community and raised concerns about safety during the peak holiday season at one of Switzerland’s most popular winter destinations.
