Counterfeit healthcare products are emerging as a growing concern across South India. A recent CRISIL-ASPA survey found that healthcare products rank among the most counterfeited categories, with Hyderabad recording the highest overall counterfeit exposure at 46%. One in three consumers reported encountering a counterfeit healthcare product in the past year.
