Congress high command gives final nod for cabinet expansion
The Congress high command has cleared 16 to 18 names for the much-awaited Karnataka cabinet expansion, following high-level discussions in New Delhi between Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, and party leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. The swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers is anticipated on August 3, 2026.
