China's big step towards redefining marine exploration

Marine exploration could be redefined with China finally giving the green light to a deep-sea research facility. The facility will be anchored 2,000 meters below the surface of the strategically significant South China Sea, which is also subject to a number of competing territorial claims. The mission will accommodate six scientists, and it will last as long as six months. Watch in for more details!
