Bengaluru Emerges As India’s Cybercrime Capital In New NCRB Report

Bengaluru has topped India’s list of cybercrime cases among metro cities, according to fresh NCRB data highlighting the country’s growing digital security challenge. The report points to a sharp rise in online fraud, financial scams, identity theft, and cyber offences as internet usage and digital transactions continue to expand rapidly. Experts say India’s tech-driven economy and increasing smartphone penetration have also created more opportunities for cybercriminals, making digital awareness and stronger cybersecurity systems more important than ever.
