Belarusian activist stabs himself in neck in court to protest political repression

Belarusian activist Stepan Latypov stabbed himself in the neck with a pen during a court hearing in Minsk. Viasna, an independent rights group monitoring the trial of Stepan Latypov, said it believed the activist had tried to commit suicide following pressure in detention.
