Baby scarlet macaw born in the wild in Paraguay makes public debut

Biologists in Paraguay on Monday (February 17) welcomed the first scarlet macaw chick hatched in the wild in the city of Luque. The city firefighters pulleyed the 65-day-old chick from its nest and Brazilian biologists microchipped and weighed the parrot surrounded by curious bystanders taking pictures of the baby macaw's debut.
