Afghanistan: Taliban to shut down beauty salons

The Taliban Administration has ordered beauty salons in Afghanistan to shut down. This is part of Morality Ministries' move to shrink women's access to public spaces. Foreign governments and UN officials have condemned the growing restrictions on women under the Taliban's rule. A spokesperson from the Prevention of Vice and Propagation of Virtue said that the deadline for shutting down sellers is one month.
