Top Maldives Politician Abdulla Shahid has termed India as 'constant pillar' of support for his country & termed Delhi 'true friend'. His comments come ahead of PM Modi's visit to Maldives to attend the Independence day celebration where he is the 'guest of honor'. Speaking to WION's Siddhant Sibal from Male, President Maldivian Democratic Party, Abdulla Shahid said ,'blessed that we have a neighbour that is 5th largest economy, over 6% growth rate, $ 4 tn economy...Maldives need to tap into this economy"
