"India is the world's largest democracy and we Indians are also proud of the fact that our country is also the mother of democracy, which is in our culture. For centuries, it has been an integral part of our daily lives. By nature we are a democratic society," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his first Mann Ki Baat of 2023.
