25th round of border talks to commence as Ajit Doval visits Beijing
Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval arrived in Beijing on August 24 for a two-day visit to hold the 25th round of Special Representatives’ talks on the India-China boundary question. Doval is set to meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi as the two sides continue discussions on resolving outstanding border issues and maintaining stability along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
