‘Witch-hunt’: Wangchuk’s wife denies all allegations
Gitanjali Angmo, the wife of activist Sonam Wangchuk, says she feels “almost under house arrest” as authorities push what she calls baseless narratives against her husband. Wangchuk, a leading voice in Ladakh’s statehood movement, was detained under the National Security Act for allegedly inciting protests that turned violent. He has been shifted to a jail in Rajasthan.
