<p>The chartered flight Airbus A300-200 was carrying 225 passengers who had enjoyed a P&amp;O Caribbean cruise. The passengers experienced severe "clear-air turbulence" two-and-a-half hours into its journey at 38,000 feet.</p>

<p>The flight reportedly departed an hour behind schedule from Barbados. It was scheduled to reach Manchester just before 6 am on December 24. Following the emergency diversion, the aircraft touched down in Bermuda's LF Wade International Airport on Christmas eve, five hours after departure.</p>

<p>The passengers spent an unexpected three days in Bermuda, encompassing Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and most of December 26.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The pregnant Texas teenager who had been incommunicado since last Friday (Dec 22) was found dead by police on Tuesday (Dec 26) just days ahead of her scheduled induction. 18-year-old <strong>Savanah Nicole Soto</strong> was found dead alongside her boyfriend <strong>Matthew Guerra</strong>, 22, in the latter’s car at Medical Apartments in San Antonio, according to Police Chief Bill McManus.</p>

<p>Police are investigating this case as a “possible murder.” “What we’re looking at right now is a very, very perplexing crime scene … Detectives right now are looking at this as a possible murder,” McManus said at a press conference.</p>

<p>“We believe that is the missing woman and her boyfriend but we can’t confirm that right now officially until the medical examiner takes a look at the bodies and makes that determination as to their identity,” he stated.</p>

<p>Police did not inform whether Soto’s fully-developed foetus survived and how the couple died.</p>

<p>According to the New York Post, a family member first discovered the car Tuesday evening and found the two dead bodies inside.</p>

<p>Kathleen Wilson, the patient, has filed the civil action suit against Dr Kevin Molldrem, of Molldrem Family Dentistry. She said Dr Molldrem treated her in July, 2020. The lawsuit has been filed in Hennepin Country District Court.</p>

<p>Wilson, who took help from another doctor for analysis of her case, has accused that Dr Molldrem grossly exceeded safe dosage levels of anaesthesia and then fudged records to hide this fact.</p>

<p>Dr. Avrum Goldstein, whom Wilson's legal team consulted for his opinion on Wilson's case, reportedly said that a thing like so many procedures in a single sitting was "impossible to achieve if … done properly."</p>

<p>Wilson suffered significant injuries after the five-hour session and had to visit other doctors in order to repair Molldrem's work that has been called "negligent". In her lawsuit, Wilson has sought USD 50,000 in damages.</p>

<p>Dr Goldstein, whom Wilson's legal team retained for his expert advice, said that while Dr Molldrem's diagnosis of Kathleen's condition was correct, his treatment was of poor quality. He further said that Dr Molldrem's treatment did nothing to improve Wilson's condition and did not prevent possibility that she would lose her teeth.</p>

<p>Two teenage girls were randomly stabbed by a man while enjoying a Christmas morning meal with their parents at a Grand Central Terminal restaurant on Monday (Dec 25). The attacker undertook the stabbings, shortly after ranting that he wanted "all white people dead".&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the authorities, the girls, 14- and 16-year-olds were visiting the US from South America and enjoying a meal with their parents at Tartinery in the Grand Central Dining Concourse around noon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The attacker identified as 36-year-old Steven Hutcherson reportedly got into an altercation with restaurant workers who were trying to remove him from the establishment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hutcherson arrived at the restaurant and said he wanted a table but wasn't going to order anything. Upon being refused, he became agitated and pointed to the victims' family, arguing that they weren't eating anything either.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I want all the white people dead. I want to sit next to the crackers," he yelled before proceeding to grab a knife and stabbing the two teenagers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The older one was stabbed in the back while the younger suffered a knife wound in the thigh, the police said.&nbsp;Both teenagers were taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment and released a day later.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A Vietnamese restaurant has closed down after the owner expressed moral objections to the practice of slaughtering cats for a soup recipe. Around 300 cats used to be killed each month for a soup recipe, Metro UK reported.</p>

<p>The Humane Society International said that in early December, the owner, Pham Quoc Doanh tore down the sign advertising cat meat, or "thit meo," outside his Gia Bao restaurant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a result of the closure of the restaurant, nearly two dozen cats that were to be slaughtered, have been saved.</p>

<p>"Before selling cat meat at this restaurant I served other normal food and drinks. However, the income was not enough to cover the living cost of my family. It was then I tried selling cat meat since there was no other available restaurant serving this in the area," Doanh, who is a father of two children, said, according to reports in the British media.</p>

<p>“Our lives have been consumed with Angus’s epilepsy since he was 5. He has been on lots of very heavy medication, had wires in his head, brain stimulation, so many tests and scans,” Bain was quoted as saying by SWNS.&nbsp;</p>

<p>That changed in October when doctors at the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital decided to employ an innovative laser technology known as MRI-guided Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT). The procedure is minimally invasive and the surgery takes just under 120 minutes with a relatively short recovery time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the operation, the laser is directed to a particular area of the brain, using a thin fibre that is guided to the tumor tissue. The&nbsp;laser transmits energy and as a result, heats up the tissue surrounding the tip of the laser fibre.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moreover, Rossby Waves, which occur in rotating fluids such as oceans owing to the Earth’s rotation, could have played a part by shifting vast amounts of water and causing an unusual tide recession, the study claimed.</p>

<p>Rescuers in the UK have apparently found a 12-year-old dog roaming in an English village that went missing nearly seven years ago. Nonprofit organistaion Lost Dog Recovery UK South shared a Facebook post, mentioning details about the miraculous rescue.</p>

<p>Last month, they were informed about a small black dog roaming around in Crawley Down, a village in West Sussex, England.</p>

<p>“Realizing it could just have been an ‘owned dog allowed to roam’ situation, a camera was taken over and food left anyway until more information could be gathered,” the nonprofit was quoted as saying by CNN.</p>

<p>It stated that the dog appeared on camera several times over the following days.</p>

<p>The rescuers also learnt from the locals that the dog had been taken care of for several years and was in “good condition.” They soon figured out it was a senior dog as it had greying eyebrows and muzzle.</p>

<p>The microchip also revealed that Rose had gone missing in March 2017, within 24 hours of being adopted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further investigation revealed that Rose had been sighted within 10 days of her disappearance but could not be located.</p>

<p>The Northwest Shelf of Sahul, which had the combined landmass of Australia and New Guinea at times of lower sea level, was a vast area of land in the Late Pleistocene epoch (71,000–59,000 years ago).</p>

Surprisingly, Stefano escaped unharmed, although Antonietta was slightly hurt when her plane crashed. Firefighters managed to successfully rescue both of them from the locations of their separate accidents.</p>

<p>Pirilli claimed that Antonietta was having her first flight experience and expressed regret for the outcome.
