<p>Caroline Duddridge, a grandmother in Cardiff has raised the price&nbsp;for her 2023 Christmas dinner for her family due to the escalating cost of living.&nbsp;Duddridge has been hosting and charging for the dinner for seven years in a row but it is the first time she has increased the price.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Duddridge is asking three of her daughters to fork out $15.21 for a seat at the Christmas feast, up from about $12.67 last year, according to BBC Radio 5 Live.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Even then,&nbsp;Duddridge is of the view that the money would not be enough to prepare a proper feast for her children and grandchildren.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The eruption rate is likely to be in the region of a few hundred cubic metres of lava per second — enough to fill an Olympic swimming pool in about 20 seconds," said Pyle as quoted by Live Science.</p>

<p>"The length of the fissure may be an indication of how much magma had been able to accumulate in the crust over the past few weeks."</p>

<p>The eruption took place just three kilometres from Grindvik, a fishing port in Iceland which has now been evacuated. The eruption began on Monday at 2217 GMT, said Icelandic Meteorological Office. The Svartsengi geothermal plant is located just two kilometres away from the location of the eruption so the scientists as well&nbsp;as civic authorities in Iceland were keeping a close watch on the volcanic activity.</p>

<p>Scientists had warned for weeks about the eventual eruption and authorities built reinforcements around the power plant for its protection. The power plant supplies electricity to 30,000 people.</p>

<p>A seizure of this quantity was “unseen” for the NSW police, the state crime command’s robbery and serious crime squad commander Detective Superintendent Joseph Doueihi said.</p>

US: Heist takes nasty turn for three robbers after they lose their car to a fourth robber

<p>In a miraculous turn of events, a four-month-old baby named Lord was discovered unharmed in a tree after being swept up by a tornado that struck Tennessee.
