<p>Police in India’s Bihar state arrested eight individuals over the weekend for allegedly luring men into a fraudulent scheme involving impregnating women who were not able to conceive with their partners. The eight scammers ran their racket under the name of "All India Pregnant Job Service."&nbsp;</p>

<p>All eight individuals were arrested from Bihar’s Nawada.</p>

<p>According to police, the accused would contact interested male candidates on different social media platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp, offering them the ‘opportunity’ to earn in lakhs.</p>

<p>The interested men would be first asked to pay a registration fee of INR 799. After registration, the accused would send them pictures of women and ask them to choose a woman of their choice whom they wished to impregnate.</p>

<p>A Gujarat resident identified as Mohit Sharma reportedly executed his threat to steal a police vehicle earlier this week. The incident unfolded in Dwarka, where Sharma, drove off with the SUV&nbsp;nearly 200 km to Jamnagar where he was apprehended by police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Najiang County Research Center for the Protection of Cultural Property released a statement saying a villager asked his mother to hire a painter to paint the statues in bright colours to thank the gods for fulfilling their dreams.</p>

<p>After the incident, the local authorities increased security measures to avoid more damage to the artefacts.</p>

<p>Discovered in 2021, the statues were not registered in the heritage protection list, an employee from the local cultural relic protection bureau told China's state-run broadcaster CCTV. He said the villagers who damaged the statues were in their 70s and 80s and "could hardly be punished but only educated."</p>

<p>The employees also mentioned that the remote location of the statues made it harder for the authorities to protect them despite installing surveillance cameras. <p>Experts have issued a severe warning about a new and concerning "global healthcare risk" related to COVID-19, stating that it could start a "heart failure pandemic". The rise in COVID-19&nbsp;cases, especially due to the new strain known as JN.1, could lead to potential heart issues, a new study by Japanese scientists has revealed.</p>

<p>Following a spike in Covid cases in several countries, including the US, UK, China, and India&nbsp;in recent weeks, largely due to the influx of a new strain JN.1, health experts have warned that this will increase the chances of potential heart issues for those who catch the disease.</p>

<p>Scientists from Japan's top research institute Riken issued the warning in a new report. They say the ACE2 receptors, which the coronavirus clings to within human cells, are 'very common' in the heart. This means many people who catch the virus may suffer from 'reduced cardiac function'.</p>

<p>The reason for this is still unclear. However, the report suggests the Covid pandemic might have changed things significantly. It warns that the number of those at risk of future heart failure due to 'persistent infection of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is expected to exponentially increase'.</p>

It warns that the number of those at risk of future heart failure due to 'persistent infection of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is expected to exponentially increase'. <p>In a recent incident, a man was praised for not swapping his seats with a pregnant woman on a flight. The incident came to light on Reddit when the man was travelling to meet his family for the holidays, and shared his story that got an unusual response.&nbsp;</p>
