<p>The suit alleged that Cohen had used his "confidential relationship" with Trump for financial gains, which constituted "grave violations" of his contractual and fiduciary duties to the former president.</p>

<p>In response to Trump's decision to dismiss the lawsuit, Michael Cohen issued a statement on Thursday (Oct 5), describing the case as a "retaliatory" measure.&nbsp;"This case was nothing more than a retaliatory intimidation tactic, and his attempt to hide from routine discovery procedures confirms as much," the former attorney said in the statement.&nbsp;</p>

The grand jury indicted Eric Sweeney on three counts of first-degree murder for purposely causing the deaths of 25-year-old Kassandra Sweeney, her 4-year-old son&nbsp;Benjamin and 23-month-old son Mason in their home in Northfield, New Hampshire on August 3, 2022, reported multiple US news outlets.</p>

<p>Eric Sweeney was also indicted on one count of falsifying physical evidence. The indictment reportedly says that he "did alter, destroy, conceal, or remove a Taurus .40 calibre handgun" with an aim to make it difficult for investigators to find it.</p>

<p>He is currently being held without bail. The attorney general's office has said that he will be arraigned later.</p>

<p>The bodies of Kassandra Sweeney and two young sons were found in their Wethersfield Drive home on August 3, 2022. Each of them died of a single gunshot. Their deaths were determined to be homicides.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Media reports suggest that Kassandra was a homemaker. Benjamin Michael (4) liked learning about dinosaurs, movies and making crafts.</p>

<p>Mason was just 1.</p>

<p>Sean Sweeney, the children's father, expressed his emotions in a Facebook post a few days after the murders.</p>

<p>"I wanted to thank everyone for the outreach and support, while things will never be 'normal' again my body finally shut down and let me get some sleep last night and I woke up feeling as 'normal' as possible," he wrote.</p>

<p>About his wife Kassandra, he said that she was the "most amazing, caring, sweetest all-around good person that anyone could ever meet". He added that she loved their children very much.&nbsp;</p>
