Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the Russia-backed temporary administration for the southern Kherson region, told Associated Press that the Ukrainian forces massively damaged the Antonivskyi Bridge with missiles.

This was a huge victory for Ukraine as the bridge connects the areas around the Dnieper River and without it, Russian military was struggle. Stremousov also said that the Ukrainian forces used HIMARS rocket launchers which were provided by the United States in their attack on the bridge.

This was the second attack on the bridge by the Ukrainian forces as Russia has gained a lot of control already in the Kherson region. However, head of the Moscow-appointed Kherson administration, Vladimir Saldo, downplayed the damage done to the bridge as he said in a video message that they are not allowing heavy vehicles, but the repairs will be done within one or two days.

Iran, Turkey and Russia are involved in Syria conflict. Iran and Russia are supporting President Bashar al-Assad's regime while Turkey backs the rebel forces which are fighting against the regime.

Last year, Erdogan threatened to launch a new offensive in Syria against Kurdish militants. Iran has already warned that any Turkish military action in Syria could "destabilise the region".

This is Erdogan's first meeting with Putin since the start of conflict in Ukraine. Erdogan has for months offered to meet Putin in order to help resolve tensions over Ukraine war.

Turkey has launched waves of attacks on Syria since 2016, targeting Kurdish militias as well as Islamic State group jihadists and forces loyal to Assad.

Russian journalist who dared to criticise Vladimir Putin picked up by police while walking dogs

Amid the Russia-Ukraine war, there has been collateral damage, shared not only by the two countries involved but others too. One such country is Greece and its dying fur trade industry.&nbsp;

Reportedly, the fur trade industry of Greece, especially in the Kastoria region is staring at a bleak future, Ever since the war broke out, Russia and its tourists, which used to be the biggest market of fur have disappeared entirely. Trying to open new markets is an uphill task and time is not by the side of fur traders.&nbsp;

According to figures for 2015 from the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food, there used to be 123 fur farms in Greece which rose to 131 in 2018. However, since then, there has been a dramatic drop and only 92 mink farms operated in 2020. The numbers are expected to have dwindled rapidly in the last five months after the war broke out in February.

According to data received, fur garments are among Greece's top 10 exports to the world market. To Russia alone, the export figure amounted to 14 million euros last year. A year before that, it was around the 55 mn euros mark.&nbsp;

Trying to open new markets is an uphill task and time is not by the side of fur traders. According to figures for 2015 from the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food, there used to be 123 fur farms in Greece which rose to 131 in 2018. However, since then, there has been a dramatic drop and only 92 mink farms operated in 2020. The numbers are expected to have dwindled rapidly in the last five months after the war broke out in February. According to data received, fur garments are among Greece's top 10 exports to the world market. To Russia alone, the export figure amounted to 14 million euros last year. Three people were rescued from the rubble and one of them died in hospital,” the statement by the authorities read.

The authorities also said that the search and rescue operations in the aftermath of the attack has concluded for the time being. A number of people were able to capture the moment when the town of Toretsk was hit by the strikes and the videos are currently doing the rounds on social media.

This was the latest offensive by the Russian forces in the Donbas region – the combination of Donetsk and Luhansk in the eastern part of Ukraine. The forces have been quite active in the region off late and a number of cities are being targeted by them in their pursuit of complete domination.

However, the Russian ministry denied deliberately targeting civilians during any of their attempts to control the region. The Russian defence ministry continue to call the invasion a “special military operation” and said that the Russian forces have been instructed to avoid any damages to civilians.

Six people killed in Donbas town Toretsk due to Russian shelling, Ukraine says
