<p>When police launched an investigation, they found Neetu Yadav's address to be fake and her phone number was also switched off, which&nbsp;further raised suspicion that the house help may have executed the burglary.</p>

<p>Police perused CCTV footage and enquired locals. Eventually, the lady was arrested as she was trying to flee Delhi with a bag.</p>

<p>She was detained and interrogated subsequently. She told the police that she originally hailed from Rajasthan and ran from her house to escape abuse at the hands of her husband. She started working in Delhi bungalows to earn a living.</p>

<p>Lately, she became active on social media and started her own YouTube channel. She wanted to buy herself a DSLR camera but it was too costly, she told police. She allegedly asked her relatives for a loan but to no avail.</p>

<p>Half of these 1.01 hectares was&nbsp;sold to one Ashwin, according to a sale deed dated December 31, 2010.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But the sold land currently remains in the possession of Karu Lal, Ramlal, Prabhu Lal, Mangi Bai and Parvati Bai, who are unwilling to hand it over to Ashwin.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At 2,836 metres deep, the seeps provide chemical energy for deep-sea animals living without sunlight and offer insights as to how these conditions led to the development of life on Earth, said the team in a press release, on Tuesday (Jun 18).&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The microbes that live on these seeps have amazing strategies for producing food without sunlight,” said expedition lead Dr Lauren Seyler of Stockton University, in the statement. &nbsp;</p>

<p>She added, “Here on Earth, life in the dark is alien in its own right and provides critical information for understanding how organisms persist under the most extreme conditions.”</p>

<p>Seyler noted that we are still to figure out how life started on Earth and environments like these “might offer clues about the spark that ignited all the biodiversity on our beautiful planet.”</p>

<p>At MH370 aircraft's way, there are two hydroacoustic stations able to detect such a signal; in Cape Leeuwin in Western Australia and in the British territory of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Both of them were set up to oversee the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Both locations were operational around the time MH370 is believed to have crashed into the Indian Ocean.</p>

<p>Now the researchers at the Cardiff University have identified one signal that coincides with the narrow time frame when the aircraft could have crashed into the ocean on March 8. It was recorded at the Cape Leeuwin station. However, the same signal was not detected at the Diego Garcia station.</p>

<h2><strong>What does it mean?</strong></h2>

<p>"This raises questions about its origin," researcher Dr Usama Kadri, a reader of applied mathematics, was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.</p>

<p>It is not conclusive, but he said: "Given the sensitivity of hydrophones, it is highly unlikely a large aircraft impacting the ocean surface wouldn’t leave a detectable pressure signature, particularly on nearby hydrophones."</p>

<p>Now, DNA obtained from 64 of them is offering insight into child sacrifice at Chichen Itza in the centuries before Europeans reached the New World. Those entombed were all boys - some of them brothers, including two sets of identical twins - killed during religious rituals, scientists said on Wednesday. Most were ages 3 to 6.</p>

<p>Most were interred in the mass grave during the pinnacle of Chichen Itza's political and cultural clout, from about 800 AD to 1000 AD, though some were buried in the centuries before and after that, covering a 500-year span ending at around 1100.</p>

<p>Twins figure prominently in ancient Maya religion and art, and sacrificing twins is described in sacred writings, including a book called the Popol Vuh. The Mayan Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, underwent cycles of sacrifice and resurrection as they confronted gods of the underworld. Subterranean structures like the chultun were considered entrances to the underworld, central to Maya cosmogony.</p>

<p>"Ritual sacrifice was a common practice among ancient Mesoamerican populations. However, the biological relationships between the sacrificed individuals had not been described before," said archaeogeneticist Rodrigo Barquera of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVA) in Germany, lead author of the study published in the journal Nature.</p>

<p>"We think that the people from Chichen Itza were trying to symbolically replicate the Mayan mythological stories and the representation of the twin heroes in this ritual burial," Barquera added. "For Maya, and Mesoamerican cultures in general, death is the ultimate offering, and as such, sacrifices bear high importance to their beliefs system."</p>

<p>Chichen Itza is known for its stunning architecture, including an impressive pyramid structure now called El Castillo. Nearby is a sacred water-filled sinkhole called a cenote, where the bodies of more than 200 people were found. And close to that is the chultun where the boys were buried.</p>

<p>"The original purpose of chultuns was to store fresh water. This one had been repurposed into a funerary chamber adjacent to a small natural cave. Both the chultun and the cave were filled with human remains," Barquera said.</p>

<p>DNA was extracted from the petrous portion of the temporal bone, which houses the inner ear. This small bone has proven optimal in preserving ancient DNA.</p>

<p>"We sampled only the left portion because that would make sure we sampled every individual only once. It was not preserved for every individual in the chultun, therefore we sampled only a subset," said MPI-EVA archaeogeneticist and study co-author Kathrin Nägele.</p>

<p>"From the genetic similarities of two individuals, we can calculate the degree of genetic relationship. In this case, we found two pairs who were so similar they could only be identical twins, and at least three more who were full siblings. They could have also been twins, but fraternal twins, coming from two different egg cells," Nägele said. "This is the first time we are able to confidently identify identical twins in the archaeological record."</p>

<p>The research contradicted an idea popularized in the 20th century that the ancient Maya preferred female sacrifices.</p>

<p>The researchers also compared the genomes of the boys to those of present-day Maya communities, including people from the village of Tixcacaltuyub near Chichen Itza's ruins. They identified genetic traits in modern Maya likely arising from immune system adaptations by their ancestors to an epidemic bacterial infection during Spanish colonization.</p>

<p>It remains unclear how the boys died.</p>

<p>"There are no cut marks or evidence of trauma, which tells us how did they not die. But we have not found a cause of death for them yet," Barquera said.</p>

Researchers describe how Inner Reading Voice reads out sentences to most people

<p>A groundskeeper in the North Carolina mountains has found a bizarre space object. The groundskeeper, identified as one Justin Clontz as well as his co-worker were reportedly handling maintenance around a luxury campsite when they reacted with shock after finding massive object covered in dense metal sheets held together by out-of-this-world looking bolts.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It’s once in a lifetime you know, it don’t happen every day," Clontz told a local TV station.</p>

The local TV station described the strange object covered in an inch-thick burnt carbon fiber that was nearly 4 feet tall. "We don’t know what it is. "It’s a one in a million chance that it lands, especially if it landed somewhere off the trail in the woods you’d have never found it but it just happened to land on the trail," Clontz said. According to reports, the object in itself appears to be burnt but the surrounding area showed no signs of damage. This raised even more questions about how the piece of metal ended up deep in the hiking site. What does it mean? There are speculations that the object could have fallen to earth from SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, according to Space.com. Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer and astrophysicist at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics told a TV station that areas from Tennessee through Virginia and West Virginia have the highest chances of being impact zones for debris from the Crew Dragon. In March, an airplane passenger claimed she spotted a possible UFO soaring above the Big Apple while on a commercial airline flight above LaGuardia Airport, New York Post reported.
