According to the police's statement, the incident was 'not an accident.' It added that they were notified about the incident around 2 pm.&nbsp;The child has been taken into custody. According to the police, the gun was legally purchased by the child's mother, CBS news reported.

Police chief Drew told reporters, "We did not have a situation where someone was going around the school shooting. We have a situation in one particular location where a gunshot was fired."

According to a press freedom watchdog, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) on Friday reported that six journalists of South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) were detained under suspicion over the release of the unauthorised footage.

The clip went viral, filmed during a public event in Sudan which clearly shows South Sudanese President Kiir standing for the national anthem, spreading a stain on his pants, Guardian reported.&nbsp;

Citing media reports, people from CPJ said on the condition of anonymity named the detainees Jobal Tombe the control room director, camera operator and technician &nbsp;Victor Lado, camera operators Joseph Oliver and Jacob Benjamin, camera operator and technician Mustafa Osman, and control room technician Cherbek Ruben.

"Thailand&nbsp;does not require Covid test results from tourists from any country," Public Health Minister Anutin&nbsp;Charnvirakul told reporters on Thursday following a meeting between health, tourism and transportation officials.

China was the largest source of foreign tourists for&nbsp;Thailand&nbsp;before the pandemic, with almost 11 million arrivals in 2019, according to government data.

Tourism accounted for nearly 20 per cent of national income before the pandemic, and tough border restrictions at the height of the health crisis took a toll on hotels, restaurants and tour operators across the country.

"This is an opportunity to restore our economic situation and recover from losses we suffered for nearly three years," Anutin said.

"We expect Chinese tourists to come to&nbsp;Thailand&nbsp;after Chinese New Year," Tourism Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakan said.

In December, Thailand&nbsp;clocked its 10 millionth international visitor for 2022 -- a major increase on the 430,000 seen in 2021 but still way off the 40 million arrivals of 2019.

Thai officials are forecasting some 20 million arrivals in 2023, though they believe Chinese tourists could push the figure up to around 25 million.

Amid constant disruptions in China due to lockdown, a surge in Covid cases, and employee unrest at a Foxconn factory, technology giant Apple Inc is all set to sign its manufacturing contractor Luxshare Precision Industry Co Ltd to produce premium iPhone models, people familiar with the matter said.&nbsp;

Earlier, Luxshare was producing only a small number of the iPhone 14 pro-Max at its Kunshan plant to make up for the lost production of Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory, the Financial Times reported.&nbsp;

These increased battery prices will also apply to not just iPhones but also MacBooks, some iPads and a few international markets.

A&nbsp;U.S.&nbsp;judge&nbsp;on Friday dismissed an&nbsp;indictment&nbsp;against&nbsp;Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of&nbsp;Huawei&nbsp;Technologies Co, formally ending a criminal sanctions case that&nbsp;strained&nbsp;US-China&nbsp;relations.

A lawyer for Meng and a spokeswoman for&nbsp;Huawei&nbsp;did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Meng spent nearly three years under house arrest in Canada following her arrest at a Vancouver airport.

She entered a deferred prosecution agreement with&nbsp;US&nbsp;prosecutors in Sept. 2021 in which she acknowledged having made false statements about&nbsp;Huawei's Iran business.

On the day Donnelly approved that agreement, Meng flew home to Shenzhen.

The group was able to take a part of the painting that had an image of a woman in a gas mask and dressed in a gown holding a fire extinguisher on the side of the scorched building, Reuters reported.&nbsp;

Ukraine: Group steals Banksy's mural off a battle-scarred wall, detained in Hostomel

Christopher Dawson, a 74-year-old Australian former high school teacher, has been sentenced to 24 years in jail over murdering his wife 40 years ago. The murder case was opened again in 2018 after the hit podcast "The Teacher's Pet" pressurised police for re-investigation.&nbsp;

The Australian Supreme Court in August found that Dawson deliberately killed his wife in January 1982 to have an affair with a young student who had babysat and was residing in his home at that time, Reuters reported.&nbsp;

Dawson will be eligible to apply for parole when he reaches the age of 92 in 2040.

Dawson's lawyers claimed that the podcast, produced by News Corp's Australian Newspaper, deprived him of a fair trial because of how he was portrayed.&nbsp;

The 'work&nbsp;start order' was issued in a cabinet meeting with the president's presence, targeting nearly 2,500 cement truckers out of the thousands to get back to the work, AP reported.&nbsp;

A video of the horrifying Christchurch attack circulating widely on Twitter has been removed, but only after being alerted by the New Zealand government.&nbsp;

The video was shot by an Australian supremacist who killed over 50 Muslims in two mosques in Christchurch in 2019. It was uploaded by a Twitter user on Saturday (Nov 26).&nbsp;

The microblogging site had failed to recognise the content. A spokesperson for New Zealand's prime minister said the company's automated function didn't recognise&nbsp;the content as harmful.&nbsp;
