He was feeling, and a feeling never lets you go. On KBC, Big B shared an incident from the sets of Sholay.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“We were shooting in Bangalore. He had what I call a physical quality; he was a wrestler, a hero. In the death scene, the agony you saw on screen was real because of the way he held me so tightly that the pain became natural acting.” The anecdote highlighted Dharmendra not just as a cinematic legend but as an instinctive artist who inspired everyone around him.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Adding to the tribute, director Sriram Raghavan, who helmed Ikkis, said on KBC, “I am very blessed that he worked in my last film and that his last performance is something he was extraordinarily good at.”</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Actor Jaideep Ahlawat, also part of the film, echoed these sentiments, sharing, “I was lucky to have most of my scenes with him. <p>Actor-filmmaker Naseeruddin Shah says he once had a discussion about the definition of originality with Javed Akhtar when he told the screenwriter that his 1975 classic <em>Sholay</em>&nbsp;was a copy of Charlie Chaplin and Hollywood filmmaker Clint Eastwood’s works.</p>

<p>"I don’t have to hanker for great roles, I’ve done my share of those. I’m happy doing cameo roles because they don’t require that much effort,” he said.</p>

<p>"I was growing up around wonderful actors... The workshops that would happen at home, dealing with different kinds of texts whether English, Hindi or Urdu. I feel they both are not offered their best roles, films are waiting to utilise them fully," he added.</p>

<p>Azad, who was previously dating Imaad Shah, said working with Ratna Pathak Shah – whom she referred to as ‘maa’ – was “easy” and “wonderful”.</p>

<p>“Because of our relationship, and we know each other, so there’s already a maternal kind of thing. For me it was a dream. I was dying to do this for years, before baba asked me to do it,” she said.</p>

The masterpiece will be screened with live music by pianist Jonny Best to honour Bollywood`s Shehenshah`s works over a period of time.<br />

Apart from the classic cult, silent films like `Pandora`s Box,` `Blackmail` and 1925 Soviet film `Battleship Potemkin` will also be screened in the festival.<br />

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the exciting news on his Twitter handle. According to the official Instagram page of IFFI Goa wrote, "In a way of honouring this year`s #DadasahebPhalke Award Winner Amitabh Bachchan, #IFFI2019 will have a special retrospective section of his best films, with the film `PAA` opening the Film section."</p>

Cult classic 'Sholay' to get a special screening at IFFI 2019, Goa

<p>Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer ‘Sholay’ is confirmed to be showcased at this year’s International Film Festival (IFFI) that is scheduled in Goa this month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As the film festival completes 50 successful years, the organisers have arranged some special showcases to show Indian movie lovers some of the most iconic movies. The film will be shown as part of a segment called Retrospective of Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan himself will be attending the opening ceremony of the festival on November 20.</p>

<p>According to the festival’s official website, &nbsp;Amitabh Bachchan, who is the recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award, will be honoured at the film festival by showcasing six of his films. The movies which will be screened at IFFI this year apart from Sholay are ‘Deewaar’ (1975), ‘Black’ (2005), ‘Paa’ (2009), ‘Piku’ (2015) and ‘Badla’ (2019).</p>

<p>Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal the news, along with a list of other films to be screened at the festival.
