<p>It further added that in order to meet it by the deadline would be a "huge challenge" as there are new pressures, which also include the aid London is providing to the war-ravaged Ukraine.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the calculation, the UK government will have to spend 83 per cent of the total aid budget on the international climate fund so that it meets the £11.6bn pledge by 2026.&nbsp;</p>

However, the Cabinet Office has brought a legal challenge over the&nbsp;enquiry's&nbsp;demands, which its lawyer James Eadie told the court was brought "with some considerable reluctance".<br />

He argued in court filings that documents relevant to the&nbsp;enquiry&nbsp;"simply cannot cover all government business and all the policy areas that were live over the two-year period".</p>

"Material that had been redacted by the Cabinet Office as 'unambiguously irrelevant' is now assessed as relevant in light of Mr Johnson's statement," Keith said.<br />

<p>The arrests took place on commercial premises, including restaurants, car washes, nail bars, barber shops and convenience stores. Suspects were arrested for offences, including illegal working and possession of false documentation, with sums of cash also seized at some locations.</p>

<p>Of those arrested, over 40 were detained by the Home Office pending their removal from the UK, with the remaining suspects being released on immigration bail. It is also expected that a number of the arrests will result in a voluntary departure from the UK, the Home Office said.</p>

<p>“This result demonstrates the dedication and professionalism of our officers to take action against immigration offenders, as well as employers who are not complying with the rules. Our enforcement teams are working around the clock to deter immigration offending and help protect the public,” said Eddy Montgomery, Director of Enforcement, Compliance and Crime at the Home Office.</p>

<p>“Working closely with partners and agencies including the police and the National Crime Agency (NCA), we are tackling illegal work at every level. It is vital that we not only identify individuals in breach of immigration law but target the people smuggling networks behind this type of criminal activity,” he said.</p>

<p>While offenders of over 20 different nationalities were found to be working without proper visa rights to be in the UK, the countries involved have not been identified.</p>

<p>The Home Office said the operation builds on the ongoing work by Immigration Enforcement officers to clamp down on illegal working, which is a key part of the government’s approach to stopping the boats crossing the English Channel illegally. The operation is aimed at tackling illegal migration by breaking the business model of criminal gangs who use the offer of black market jobs as one way to draw people to the UK illegally, officials added.</p>

<p>In the first quarter of 2023, Immigration Enforcement teams claim they delivered 1,303 enforcement visits, a 57 per cent increase on the same period last year. And, since Sunak set out his plan in December last year to “stop the boats” crossing illegally into the UK, arrests are said to have doubled compared to the same period last year.</p>

<p>UK interior minister Suella Braverman, on Wednesday, urged people to not make any assumptions following the stabbing incident in Nottingham, central England, that claimed the lives of three people.</p>

<p>Her appeal came after claims were being circulated on the internet about the identity of the 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's completely natural to seek answers immediately when something terrible happens, but it's also vital that those answers are wholly accurate," Braverman told MPs.</p>

<p>"Speculating out loud is never helpful and runs the risk of being counterproductive," she added. "The police have asked for patience while the inquiries continue."</p>

<p>The police have not yet revealed the name of the man arrested and have also not commented on his background.</p>

<p>Braverman assured that anti-terrorism police were helping Nottinghamshire police in the investigation, "though this does not mean that it is currently being treated as a terrorist attack".</p>

<p>Two students, aged 19 and a 65-year-old man were stabbed to death. The police believe that the suspect stole&nbsp;the van of the older victim and then rammed it into three other people, injuring one critically.</p>

<p>Police formally released the identities of the three stabbing victims as Nottingham University students Barnaby Webber and Grace Kumar, and school caretaker Ian Coates.</p>

<p>The family of Barnaby Webber said that he was a "beautiful, brilliant, bright young man".</p>

<p>"He was a talented and passionate cricketer. At 19, he was just at the start of his journey into adulthood and was developing into a wonderful young man," they added.</p>

<p>"We were so incredibly proud of Grace's achievements and what a truly lovely person she was. She leaves behind devastated extended family and friends," said Kumar's family.</p>

<h2><strong>Thousands of mourners join families of victims for outdoor vigil</strong></h2>

<p>Thousands of people came together to pay a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the horrific stabbing incident.</p>

<p>“What should have been one of our biggest celebrations turned into one of our darkest days," The Guardian quoted community officer at the union, Daisy Forster, as saying.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“What was taken from us yesterday will never be given back and the shock waves echo through our student community.”</p>

<h2><strong>PM Sunak offers condolences</strong></h2>

<p>Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he was continuously being briefed about the developments in the Nottingham attack case. He said, “My thoughts are with those injured, and the family and loved ones of those who have lost their lives."</p>

<p>He also thanked the emergency services for dealing with the "shocking incident" in the city, which is home to more than 320,000 people.</p>
