<p>"We tried to save him when he arrived at hospital and unfortunately he died in intensive care," Ndiame Diop, the manager of Ziguinchor hospital, told Reuters, saying it was not possible to determine the exact cause of death without an autopsy.</p>

<p>The US&nbsp;Bureau of African Affairs said in an online post on Saturday that it was saddened to learn of the first two deaths.</p>

<p>"We urge all parties to act in a peaceful and measured manner, and we continue to call on President Sall to restore the electoral calendar, restore confidence, and bring calm to the situation," it said.</p>

<p>What happens next is not clear.</p>

<p>Amid heightened political tensions, authorities in Madagascar imposed a curfew on Wednesday (Nov 15) a day ahead of the presidential elections scheduled on Thursday (Nov 16), after a majority of opposition candidates boycotted the polls in the country.</p>

<p>Angelo Ravelonarivo, the police prefect in the capital, during a media briefing, said that the decision to adopt the measure was taken after "various acts of sabotage".</p>

<p>It follows "various acts of sabotage" including the "burning of a polling station", he said.</p>

<p>He said that the curfew would come into force at 09:00 pm (1800 GMT) on Wednesday and last until 04:00 am the next day.</p>

<p>The elections are scheduled to open at 06:00 am and close at 05:00 pm on Thursday (Nov 16). This comes after more than a month of staged street demonstrations.</p>

<p>The Democrat said firmly that he is not someone who will "bow down" to "dictators" and that Trump does it to Russian President Vladimir Putin.</p>

<p>Trump called Biden “not too old" for a second term in the White House. The comments first appeared to be lending support to Biden, but Trump quickly took a U-turn. "I think he's incompetent," Trump quipped.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Some of the greatest world leaders have been in their 80s. I'm not anywhere very near 80, by the way. And Biden's not too old. But I think he's incompetent, and that's a bigger problem,” Trump said in a conversation with NBC.</p>
