<p>One of the fingerprints on the ransom note matched Ross, who was involved in a 1999 DWI (driving while intoxicated) case. She said the authorities linked Ross to a property owned by his mother, found the little girl and captured the suspect in a camper at about 06:30 pm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Hochul, the authorities took Charlotte to a local hospital. However, she appeared unharmed and reunited with her family.</p>

<p>The case is currently an active investigation, and Ross is still under interrogation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Charlotte Sena's rescue ended an intense search involving 400 people, including forest rangers, police officers and firefighters, expanded over 46 linear miles (74 linear kilometres).</p>

<p>Imran Riaz Khan, a prominent Pakistani journalist, anchor, and YouTuber, who had been missing for nearly five months, was finally "recovered" and reunited with his family on Monday (September 25), media reports said citing Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Hassan Iqbal. The journalist's ordeal began on May 11 when he was taken into custody at Sialkot Airport under the Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO) after nationwide protests on May 9 in response to the detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan at the Islamabad High Court. Imran Riaz Khan was subsequently released from the district jail on May 12.</p>

<p>In a significant development, the Lahore High Court gave the Punjab police chief a deadline of September 26 to locate Imran Riaz Khan after he had been missing for an extended period.</p>

<p>Police are investigating a video, which has gone viral, that appears to show former NFL star Sergio Brown who has been reported missing last week&nbsp;along with his mother, who was later found dead in an apparent homicide. Reportedly, someone appearing&nbsp;to be Brown shared an unclear&nbsp;video message on social media platform&nbsp;Instagram on Tuesday morning (September 19). He even tagged the message to Mexico in his post.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since then, the Maywood police department in the Chicago suburbs&nbsp;confirmed Deadspin that it is investigating&nbsp;the viral clip which has made heads turn.</p>

<p>"Myrtle, she was an outstanding woman, and I’m hoping she’s in the right place and she’s with God,” Carlos Cortez, Myrtle Brown’s neighbor, told Chicago broadcaster WBBM. "I never would’ve expected this in a million years," Cortez added.</p>

"But we still believe Reeta is on the ship, stuck somewhere," he said. The incident did not make sense to Apoorv as he said Reeta was on vacation, enjoying herself when it happened.</p>

<p>The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) issued an official statement about the incident on Monday, saying the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Singapore received the notification about the incident at about 07:50 AM.</p>

<p>It stated, "MRCC Singapore is coordinating the search and immediately issued navigational safety broadcast to vessels in the Singapore Strait and vessels in port to keep a lookout for the missing person and report any sightings to MRCC Singapore."</p>

<p>According to the statement by MPA, the passenger was on board the Cyrpus-flagged Spectrum of the Seas and had fallen overboard. The crew berthed the vessel earlier in Singapore to aid the probe and departed at around 04:30 PM, it stated further.</p>

<p>The company refused to comment any further about the incident.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mauger said that Canada's P-3 plane has dropped sonar buoys in the region of the wreckage in the North Atlantic so that they can listen to any sound which hints at the presence of the missing submersible.</p>

<p>"Now the search is going underwater as well," he stated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 21-foot (6.5-metre) Titan craft lost all its communication during a descent Sunday to the Titanic, which remains at a depth of more than two miles below the North Atlantic's surface.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>France's robot-equipped ship joins search operation</strong></h2>

<p>The oceanographic institute of France is sending its vessel Atalante, which is equipped with a deep-sea underwater robot, to join the search operation in the North Atlantic and help find the submersible, the maritime ministry stated on Tuesday.</p>

<p>Utility workers waved down police officers on Wednesday at around 7 p.m. when they were conducting a traffic stop close to the Waukegan Harbour, according to the police, reported the Daily Mail.</p>

<p>The ComEd workers reported what they thought to be a body in the water as they were performing normal maintenance close to the harbour.</p>

<p>The body was pulled onto the shore with assistance from the Waukegan Fire Department, and police chief Edgardo Navarro said it matched Gray's physical description.</p>

<p>According to WGN9, the body's clothing matched his description as well. It&nbsp;was later identified as being that of Gray by the Lake County coroner.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the days that followed, lots of people spent hours searching the lakefront for Gray, including Waukegan and North Chicago police, firefighters, the Office of Naval Intelligence, water rescue teams, and about 100 Navy personnel.</p>

<p>In an effort to find her son, Gray's mother also made the trip to Waukegan from Florida.</p>

<p>On Waukegan's Genesee Street, detectives discovered security tape showing Grey leaving the Ibiza Bar.</p>

<p>He is seen exiting the bar alone in the footage while wearing a pink suit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On March 18, about 1:40 am, he was last seen and last heard from at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Washington Street; he had not been seen or heard from since leaving the pub.</p>

<p>Waukegan police, the US Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the Lake County Coroner's Office are all involved in the ongoing investigation into the tragedy.</p>

<p>Soon after her son disappeared Kerry wrote&nbsp;a post on social media.</p>

<p>Kerry wrote: 'The last 8 days have been grueling, nauseating, heartbreaking and quite honestly soul-crushing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'This boy is my heart, my world, my love of my life along with his little brother Deck.'</p>

<p>She added: 'As I type this I'm trying not to throw up. I cannot sleep, and will not sleep until I have answers as to where my son is, and what happened to him.'</p>

<p>In one social media post, Kerry wrote that she and a friend were taking part in the investigation and were searching dumpsters for her son's body.</p>

<p>'Tomorrow I have to do what no mother should ever have to do. I have to go on a foot search with the Police Department, Fire Department and many others who will join in to find my son Séamus Grays body,' she wrote on March 23.</p>

US: Body of missing Navy sailor pulled out from harbour near Lake Michigan

<p>Mukul Roy, India’s former railways' minister and senior member of Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) in West Bengal, has gone missing, his family members have claimed.</p>

<p>Roy’s son Subhragshu told PTI news agency that his father was "untraceable" and "missing" since late Monday evening.</p>

<p>"Till now I am unable to contact my father. He is untraceable," Subhragshu, a TMC leader, said.</p>

<p>Subhargshu said that his father left for Delhi on Monday evening on an Indigo flight. He was supposed to land at 9.55 pm (local time) in Delhi that day. But, since then, the veteran leader could not be traced.</p>

<p>On Monday night, Roy's son lodged a missing complaint at Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport Police Station.</p>

<p>Roy, considered to be the number two in the TMC leadership, had joined Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2017 following differences with the party leadership.</p>

<p>He was made BJP national vice-president. Roy was influential in helping BJP win 18 of the state’s total 42 seats during the general elections in 2019 when he was in the saffron party fold.</p>

<p>After winning the 2021 assembly polls on a BJP ticket, Roy returned to the TMC fold. During the polls, Roy contested from the Krishnanagar Uttar Assembly seat in Nadia district. He managed to win but the BJP lost the polls.</p>

<p>Currently a West Bengal MLA, Roy previously served as the Union Railway Minister and a Minister of State in the Shipping Ministry during the Congress government in 2015.</p>

<p>Prior to the creation of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Roy was a member of the Indian National Congress party.</p>

<p>Ever since his return to the Mamata Banerjee-led party, he has been keeping a low profile.</p>
