<p>The singer made the decision on Sunday during the finale episode, which will air today on July 25.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Indian Express quoted a source as saying, “While Mika did not marry Akanksha on the stage, he put the wedding garland on her to signify his choice. He shared that he wants to spend quality time with her away from the cameras before they take the nuptial vows. Mika also met Akanksha’s family and sought their blessing as he decided to embark on this new journey with her.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Akanksha has been a close friend of Mika Singh for the last 13-14 years. She entered the show as a wild card contestant.</p>

<p>In one of the episodes, she confessed to having feelings for Mika and said that she doesn't like to see him with other women. It was reported&nbsp;that she approached the channel herself to be a contestant.</p>

"Regarding Houston concert on Sep 21, I have just become aware of a letter issued by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to me by an article published in the Mumbai Mirror today, I was not aware of any such intimation by the Federation before today," he wrote.<br />

He went on to state that his contract is only with Shri Balaji Entertainment and nobody else as mentioned in the film body`s letter."I would like to state that my contract is only with 'Shri Balaji Entertainment' my dealings and agreement is with them only and nobody else that is mentioned in the article or Federation Letter," Diljit said.<br />

"However in lieu of the letter by the FWICE I have decided to postpone my Houston show at this time. I love my country and will always stand for the greater interest of the Nation INDIA Always," he concluded.</p>

<p>Indian Ambassador Navdeep Singh Suri to United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday informed that his representatives are present at the police station in the UAE, where Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been detained for allegedly harassing a woman.</p>
