Talking about the launch, Vishal Bhardwaj said, "I am very excited to release this special song (TheekNahiLagta) as a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar ji. The song was recorded 26 years ago but unfortunately, the film got shelved and we lost the song. I was on a treasure hunt for a long time and finally succeeded a few years ago in retrieving her voice. I then reproduced the song with Ketan Sodha featuring my most favourite classical maestro Niladri Kumar on sitar."<br />

He further added, "What makes this song more special is that we have been able to make it relevant to our current audiences by working with the young creators of Moj. This has been a creatively enriching and rewarding experience for me. The young creators today reaffirm the promising pool of talent we have in our country. I hope the track finds its way into the hearts of our viewers and the young listeners as well."<br />

Veteran lyricist Gulzar Saab commented, "It gives me immense joy to finally hear the song which I penned down many years ago. I have been an ardent admirer of Vishal`s work. He is a wonderful director who has done justice to the beautiful song effused with emotions and of course the ageless voice of Lataji adds to the song above all."<br />

<p>As a way of responding to #MeToo movement that has hit the Hindi entertainment industry after having reached its zenith in Hollywood, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar says that she believes that every woman must be given the dignity she deserves. When asked if she ever faced a similar situation, Lata said that nobody could mess around with her and get away with it.&nbsp;<br />

In an interview, Lata spoke about her sister Meena’s biography Mothi Tichi Savli that has several revelations about her. She said, “Who would know me better than my sister? She has been a part of my life almost from my birth. Meena’s daughter Rachna is very close to me. Rachna has accompanied me to many concerts. She is doing the English version of my biography which will be out soon.”<br />

The BJP launched a mega public drive, sampark for samarthan, following the Modi government's fourth anniversary on May 26. It announced that 4,000 functionaries of the party will contact one lakh people, who are well-known names in their fields, to spread the word about the government's works during its four-year tenure.<br />

Mr Shah will himself contact 50 people, the party had said.<br />

Launching the exercise, he met former Army chief Dalbir Singh Suhag and former Lok Sabha secretary general Subhash Kashyap on May 29.<br />
<br />
He has also met cricket legend Kapil Dev, former chief justice of India RC Lahoti and yoga guru Ramdev, who is associated with the Patanjali group of companies.<br />
<br />
Mr Shah had earlier said that the campaign was aimed at informing people about various government initiatives, which have resulted in raising the living standards of people. A lot of work had been done to remove the problems people faced in villages and to help the poor live a better life, he had said.</p>
