<p>"In Podilsky district, during the firefighting in an apartment building, the body of one dead person was discovered," posted Klitschko on Telegram.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Klitschko added that two people were "hospitalised" in the Darnytsky district after a residential building was damaged because of falling debris.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, two others were treated at the scene in Shevchenkivsky district, said Klitschko.</p>

<p>Ukraine's Air Force issued a warning that the threat of more drone attacks on the city by Russia still remains.&nbsp;</p>

One killed, four injured after Russia carries out 'massive' overnight strike on Kyiv

<p>A top US defence source confirmed to Fox News that the country's military authorities are retracting their assertion that a senior al Qaeda commander was killed in a recent drone operation in Syria. The Washington Post reported the story first. According to the Post, Lotfi Hassan Misto, 56, was recognised by his family as the victim of the American missile strike on May 3.</p>

<p>The operation was overseen by US Central Command, or CENTCOM, which said in a statement the day of the strike that it had carried out a strike "targeting a senior al Qaeda leader."&nbsp;</p>

<p>No more information was given, and the victim's identity remained a secret.&nbsp;Misto's family asserts that he was caring for his sheep when he was slain and that he had no connections to terrorist groups.</p>

<p>According to Misto's family, he was a father of 10 who quietly resided in a town in northwest Syria and lived in poverty for the majority of his life.</p>

<p>“We are no longer confident we killed a senior AQ official,” one official said.</p>

<p>Michael Lawhorn, a spokesman for Central Command, said, “Centcom takes all such allegations seriously and is investigating to determine whether or not the action may have unintentionally resulted in harm to civilians."</p>

The Russian-installed governor of the peninsula, Mikhail Razvozhayev said on Telegram, "A fuel reserve is on fire in the Kazachya Bay district of Crimea's port city Sevastopol. According to preliminary information, it was caused by a drone strike."</p>

<p>No one was hurt in the fire, Razvozhayev said. "The situation is under the control of our firefighters and all operative services. Since the volume of fuel is large, it will take time to localise the fire," the governor further said and urged residents to remain calm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ongoing war in Ukraine has intensified further after Russian missile strikes battered Ukrainian cities on Friday, killing 26 people, including five children. These were the first large-scale air strikes in nearly two months.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Friday's missile attacks included a strike on a residential block in Uman where 23 people, including four children, were killed. The central city of Dnipro was also targeted, killing a 31-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter in their sleep. And in Kherson, Russian forces shelled the village of Bilozerka, killing a 57-year-old woman and wounding three others.</p>

<p>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the strikes and vowed a response. Only absolute evil can unleash such terror against Ukraine," he said in his evening address on Friday.</p>
