<p>Pro-life advocate and Trump fan,&nbsp;Mayra Rodriguez said&nbsp;that her "eyes were burning" as soon as she left the rally so she went directly to the emergency room.</p>

<p>"The emergency room staff, from the triage nurse to the PA asked are you sure you didn't get sprayed with something your symptoms look like you got sprayed with something," said Rodriguez, according to&nbsp;Daily Mail Online.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I can't see anything when I try to open my eyes. I see a bright light. It hurts, it hurts a lot to open my eyes. I have this cold cloth I put on and take off constantly. It's horrible," she added.</p>

<p>Rodriguez stated her vision started getting restored by Tuesday (September 17) and the problem did not persist.</p>

<p>However, she was not the only one who suffered such an illness after attending the rally.</p>

<p>"It kept getting worse and worse, my eyes were watering a lot, my nose started running then I started feeling my face get really flushed and my neck felt like it was on fire and it just progressed from there," said another attendee, while speaking to KVOA.</p>

<p>Rodriguez's brother also complained about a similar issue. "It was all focused on my eyes, my eyes were red like hell you know, it's unbearable. I couldn't handle it," he added.</p>

<p>In June 2020, the shooter wrote on social media that he had voted for Trump in 2016 but he wished the then-president would be 'different and better' in comparison to how he was as a candidate.</p>

<p>"We all were greatly disappointed and it seems you are getting worse and devolving; are you retarded," wrote Routh on the social media platform at the time. "I will be glad when you gone (sic)," he added.</p>

<p>The rap sheet of Routh in North Carolina included 2002 "weapon law violations" and "terrorist threats", as per the public records. Roth is a registered Democrat and a construction worker.</p>

<h2><strong>Routh's Ukraine connection</strong></h2>

<p>After Routh was arrested for his alleged assassination attempt on Trump, his nearly two-minute clip from 2022 resurfaced on social media where he was interviewed by News Week Romania and spoke about how he helped recruit fighters for Ukraine in its ongoing war with Russia.</p>

<p>"This is definitely evil against good," said Routh, in the video.</p>

<p>The posts by Ryan Routh on X also showed that Ukraine was an important cause to him. In two posts in August 2023, he addressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.&nbsp;</p>
