US Spy Agency Drops Videos to Recruit China Informants

The CIA has released a new video in the Mandarin language with step-by-step instructions for people in mainland China on how to securely contact the agency if they wish to share information. It says the CIA “wants to know the truth about China” and is seeking insiders for the task. The Central Intelligence Agency has released a series of social media videos urging Chinese citizens to secretly share information about their government. In the video, the CIA says it is seeking individuals inside China having access to information about the country’s political system and willing to share it safely. The videos have led to questions about whether the agency is openly recruiting intelligence sources inside China. In the video, the intelligence agency says it wants to hear the “truth” about China and is seeking people who have confidential knowledge of the Chinese government.

Aldrich Ames — one of the most damaging spies in U.S. history — has died at the age of 84 while serving a life sentence in a Maryland prison. Ames, a former CIA counterintelligence officer, sold U.S. secrets to the Soviet Union and later Russia for nearly a decade, compromising dozens of agents and sensitive operations. His betrayals are blamed for the deaths of Western operatives and one of the worst intelligence breaches of the Cold War era.

In a bizarre claim, the Congress party’s former MP Kumar Ketkar has said that the US intelligence agency CIA and the Israeli spy agency Mossad had together strategized the defeat of the Congress in the 2014 general elections. Speaking at an event organised by the Congress on the Constitution Day, Ketkar, a former journalist, said that foreign intelligence agencies influenced the 2014 Lok Sabha elections to prevent a stable Congress or Congress-led government from coming back to power. Ketkar tried to rationalise his claim by stating that the Congress party had won 145 seats in the 2004 Lok Sabha polls and 206 in the general election five years later. John Kiriakou, who served as the CIA's chief of counter-terrorism operations in Pakistan in 2002, made the bombshell claims in an interview, which touched upon several issues including Islamabad-backed terrorism against India and Osama bin Laden's escape from Tora Bora.

Ex-CIA Official Claims Al Qaeda Infiltrated Top US Military Ranks

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer John Kiriakou has revealed in an interview that the United States provided millions of dollars to Pakistan in the regime of former President Pervez Musharraf to “buy” the latter’s “cooperation”. He also claimed that Musharraf handed over control of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal to the US. “When I was stationed in Pakistan in 2002, I was told unofficially that the Pentagon controlled the Pakistani nuclear arsenal, that Musharraf had turned control over to the United States because he was afraid of exactly what you just described (nuclear weapons falling into terrorist hands),” Kiriakou told news agency ANI.

He added that Musharraf allowed the US to operate freely. “Our relations with the Pakistani government were very, very good. And look, let’s be honest here. The United States loves working with dictators. Because then you don’t have to worry about public opinion and you don’t have to worry about the media anymore. Please. We like AQ Khan. We’re working with AQ Khan. We’re close to the Pakistanis. ..They named Faisalabad after King Faisal. Just leave him alone.”Kiriakou said succumbing to Saudi pressure was a major US policy failure, and a “mistake” by Washington. “This was a mistake that the US government made, not confronting A Q Khan head-on,” he said.Khan was born in Bhopal in 1936, but moved to Pakistan with his family in 1952 after Partition, and died in Islamabad in 2021 at the age of 85. Also Read: Fresh US strike on Venezuelan gang’s drug-smuggling boat kills 6 narco-terrorists, says Hegseth He was regarded as one of the world’s most infamous nuclear smugglers, having supplied technology to countries like North Korea, Iran, and Libya.
‘US expected India to strike after 2002, 2008 terror attacks’
Kiriakou further said the US had expected India to retaliate after the 2001 Parliament attack and 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, but it did not. “At the CIA we called the Indian policy strategic patience. US intel agency lied for decades? CIA admits secret link between officer and JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald

The United States once tried creating an army of "animal assassins", which the CIA hoped to use against its enemies, The Daily Mail reported. Declassified documents show that the CIA ran a secret project codenamed Subproject 94 in the 1960s, in which it carried out tests on wildlife. This included implanting electrodes into the brains of rats, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, donkeys, monkeys, and birds, intending to control their movements through electrical impulses. However, their ultimate aim was to have an army of people whose actions were controlled by senior government officials. The animal experiments were part of a larger program operated by the CIA called MKUltra. Run under the leadership of chemist Sidney Gottlieb, it tried to develop mind control techniques during the Cold War. Criminals, mental patients, and drug addicts were tortured as various experiments were carried out on them. The redacted files also show that regular people were given LSD and cocaine without their knowledge. The revelations were made by author John Lisle in his book "Project Mind Control." 'Holistic strategy': Trump targets US spy agencies in latest move, set to fire 1,200 personnel of CIA

The China-U.S. rivalry has taken a Cold War-style turn. America’s premier intelligence agency, the CIA, has released a new pair of videos to entice Chinese nationals to spy for the agency. Watch in for more details!

Some of the bizarre operations of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have remained hidden for decades to protect national security. However, after years of keeping it inside the books, it is now open to American citizens, as they learn about Russian alien encounters and mind control experiments by the US agency.
The revealed John F. Kennedy assassination files, which are in tens of thousands of pages, are now out and bring out the CIA's secret missions.
The files have disclosed the agency's role in creating fake porn tapes of world leaders, 'demon dolls' of Osama Bin Laden and even attempting to develop remote control dogs, according to a New York Post.

'Demon doll' of Osama Bin Laden

To minimise the influence of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden by frightening them, the CIA made a plan to distribute demonic toys of Laden to children in the Middle East.
The Laden's figurine was supposed to be made with a face that peeled off in the sun to reveal a devil.
Donald Levine, the creator of G.I. Joe, was commissioned to design three prototypes in 2005 as part of the spy agency’s plan to smoke out the terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks.
After being kept in the sun, the face of one of the prototypes would peel off to reveal a "demon-like visage with red skin, green eyes, and black markings".
“The action figure idea was proposed and rejected by the CIA before it got past the prototype stage."
“To our knowledge, there were only three individual action figures ever created and these were merely to show what a final product might look like,” a CIA spokesperson said in a statement when the plan was revealed in 2014 in declassified documents.

Indonesian President Achmed Sukarno accused the US of trying to destroy him for his sympathy towards communism. The agency produced a pornographic film called “Happy Days” to show Sukarno having sexual encounters with a woman but the person in the film was actually an American ‘performer’ in a mask.
The CIA's plan was to circulate the film and claimed that it had been secretly made by the KGB during Sukarno's visit to the Soviet Union.

In the 1950s, the CIA co-funded an operation to drop millions of anti-Communist pamphlets from balloons flying over Soviet-controlled Europe.
But later, one CIA agent came up with another plan and suggested to also having packets of extra-large condoms, labelled only “small” or “medium”, dropped on Communist nations.
This strategy was to bring down the morale of male citizens, making them feel physically inferior to their well-endowed Western counterparts. However, the plan was never executed.

The documents also revealed that the CIA created remote-controlled dogs by operating on their brains in a 1963 mind-control experiment.

Pakistan has arrested a key terror suspect after a CIA intelligence tip-off, confirming President Donald Trump's statement. The mastermind behind a deadly blast has been detained in a counterterrorism operation. This arrest highlights the growing security cooperation between the US and Pakistan in tackling global terrorism. Watch for more details.

CIA is planning to lay off a significant number of intelligence officers working on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs. This move marks the agency's largest mass firing in nearly five decades and is seen as a response to an executive order from former President Donald Trump, which aimed to limit diversity initiatives within the federal workforce.

CIA plans largest mass firing of intelligence officers in 50 years

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has offered voluntary buyouts to all its employees, as per reports from US media.

'To infuse the agency with renewed energy'

A CIA spokesperson, who spoke anonymously to CNN, said that the move is part of Director John Ratcliffe’s efforts to “ensure the CIA workforce is responsive to the administration’s national security priorities.”
The spokesperson added that this initiative forms “part of a holistic strategy to infuse the agency with renewed energy.”

CIA freezes the hiring process

In addition to the buyouts, the CIA has also stopped hiring processes for applicants who had already received conditional job offers, according to the Wall Street Journal.
A senior aide to Ratcliffe, also unnamed in the report, revealed that some of these offers might be withdrawn if the applicants do not meet the new requirements aligned with the agency’s revised objectives.
These include addressing drug cartels, managing Trump’s trade war policies, and countering China’s influence. The CIA has not disclosed details regarding its budget or workforce size.

The decision to offer buyouts aligns with broader changes within the US government under the Trump administration.
So far, hundreds of civil servants have been dismissed or sidelined as part of an initiative to downsize federal agencies and bring in individuals more aligned with the administration’s views.
Last week, the White House extended an offer to two million full-time federal employees, allowing them to leave their roles while still receiving pay and benefits until September 30.

'To infuse renewed energy': CIA halts hiring, offers buyouts to employees as Trump’s downsizing efforts expand

For years, the CIA maintained that it lacked sufficient evidence to determine whether COVID-19 originated from a wet market in Wuhan, China, or was an accidental lab leak. However, the agency has now adjusted its stance, suggesting that a lab-related incident is "more likely" than natural transmission through animals.
The updated assessment follows the confirmation of John Ratcliffe as CIA director during Donald Trump’s second White House administration. In a statement released on Saturday, a CIA spokesperson explained, "CIA assesses with low confidence that a research-related origin of the COVID-19 pandemic is more likely than a natural origin based on the available body of reporting."

Despite the shift, it stated that both scenarios remain plausible. Officials said that the revised assessment does not stem from any new intelligence but is instead based on the same evidence previously analysed.

Lab leak hypothesis gains momentum

John Ratcliffe, the new CIA chief, has been a long-time supporter of the lab leak theory. Following his appointment, Ratcliffe said that understanding the origins of COVID-19 would be a priority.
Speaking to Breitbart News on Friday, he said, “I think our intelligence, our science and our common sense all really dictate that the origins of Covid was a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” He also stated that the CIA could no longer remain “on the sidelines” of this debate.
The CIA’s “low confidence” assessment means that the intelligence behind it is fragmentary and incomplete. This conclusion aligns with the positions of other agencies. Five organisations, including the National Intelligence Council and the Defence Intelligence Agency, have leaned towards natural exposure as the cause of the outbreak, though they too maintain “low confidence” in their evaluations.

Meanwhile, two other agencies – the FBI and the Department of Energy – have supported the lab leak hypothesis. However, their conclusions differ, with the FBI tracing it back to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the Energy Department pointing to the Wuhan Center for Disease Control.

Political implications

The origins of COVID-19 carry significant geopolitical ramifications. Ratcliffe said in a 2023 essay for Fox News, co-authored with Cliff Sims, that recognising the virus as emerging from a lab under China’s Communist Party would present major diplomatic challenges for the Biden administration.
During his first presidency, Donald Trump also took a strong stance on the issue. “We must hold accountable the nation which unleashed this plague onto the world, China,” he said, criticising both the Chinese government and the World Health Organization (WHO) for their handling of the outbreak. Trump accused the WHO of being under China’s influence and spreading misinformation about the virus.

The United States is building a $1 billion embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, which will be the second largest in the world, after Iraq’s. Questions are already being raised about the embassy. Why spend $1 billion of taxpayer money on an embassy in a country with only around 86,000 American citizens? Is this truly just an embassy, or is it a fortress for secret operations in West Asia?
